Tanjiro’s Freaky Halloween: A Night of Demons, Costumes, and Chaos

Halloween is always spooky, but when Demon Slayer’s Tanjiro Kamado decides to celebrate it, things get really freaky. This year, Tanjiro swapped his Demon Corps uniform for something a little more sinister—and unknowingly unleashed a Halloween night no one in the village would ever forget.

It all started with a simple plan: carve some pumpkins, hand out candy, maybe dress up as a friendly demon for laughs. Nezuko was in on it too—decked out in an adorable (and slightly terrifying) black cat onesie. Zenitsu and Inosuke tagged along, naturally turning every moment into chaos. But things took a weird turn the moment they stepped into the abandoned mansion at the edge of town.

Tanjiro had heard rumors. Strange lights. Whispering winds. A smell of sulfur in the air. Perfect Halloween vibes, right?

Wrong.

The moment they crossed the threshold, the lights flickered. Shadows moved on their own. And then the floorboards groaned—not under their feet, but from underneath. Cue Zenitsu screaming and Inosuke charging headfirst into a ghostly suit of armor. Tanjiro, ever the calm one, tried to keep everyone together. But then he felt it—a demonic aura. Real. Hungry. Ancient.

Turns out, this wasn't just a haunted house setup. It was the resting place of an actual demon who loved Halloween a little too much.

Tanjiro faced off against the spirit of a demon who could trap souls inside jack-o'-lanterns (yes, seriously). One by one, the villagers who had vanished years ago began popping out of glowing pumpkins, dazed but alive. Nezuko’s blood art illuminated the whole place like fireworks, while Inosuke headbutted through a wall just because. Classic.

By dawn, the demon was sealed, the villagers rescued, and the haunted mansion had collapsed into harmless rubble. Tanjiro returned home with a sack of leftover candy and a new respect for Halloween’s darker side.

Moral of the story? Don’t underestimate a spooky night when you’re a Demon Slayer. And definitely don’t trick-or-treat near abandoned buildings unless you're packing a Nichirin sword.

Until next Halloween—stay spooky, stay safe, and maybe keep a Nezuko nearby, just in case.
